The Only NEET-JEE PREPRATION STRATEGY you actually need πŸ€“πŸ˜ˆ

What's up fam!

Yes I'm back with another informative blog to the beloved +1,+2 / PUC Students for the terror...NEET JEE PREPARATION.

We were amongst the first few batches to appear for NEET for medical entrance[JEE for Engineering entrance was an older exam by then]. I remember my restless preparation for NEET. It was so tiresome, so tedious. We didn't have proper preparation plan, no strategies..uhhh! I still get nightmares of it.

So I am here after 4 years of giving those exams ,with a possible plan for the students to crack these national exams. Here's my 5 step process:-

1) Believe: This is that step which requires no other resources but you yourself. You have to bring that confidence and belief that you are able , you have it all to crack it. At first, of course everyone has it. As and when you start preparing giving mocks, you may see you are not doing so well. Its natural. It happens. Don't worry. Cheer yourself up. Keep the constant perseverance in yourself and your preparation. Now you are good to go with step 2.

2) Clear NCERT concepts first: PCM/PCB should be at your fingertips. Make that possible first. Obviously that won't be sufficient but it's necessary, for both competitive as well as college examination. Don't start competitive exam preparation before finishing this. Very important.

3) Keep solving as many questions as possible:  There is no fullstop to your preparation until your exam is over. Solving many questions and analysing them gives you proper edge to achieve this humongous feat. You will realise it when you give mocks too.

4) Start mocks as soon as you roughly finish 1st time preparation: This is where even I went wrong. I never gave mocks till end. I had always thought I'm not yet prepared to give mocks and see the low scores. Your preparation is endless so as soon as you finish the first shot of preparation, start off with mocks. Atleast one for 15 days. Then when exam is nearing, give mocks for every 2-3 days and ANALYSE it. Just giving mocks won't make it. Understand your mistakes, make notes and prepare.

5) Resources:

Book recommendations:

NCERT

MTG MAGAZINES AND BOOKS

NCERT AT FINGERTIPS

ARIHANTH PUBLICATION

ANY COACHING MATERIALS.(Byjus, Allen, Aakash...)

Use any of these or others. Collecting resources is ok, but solve from it too!!!

When bored to solve, don't stop, watch the solved!

You can even type a particular concept name with questions for NEET/JEE. YouTube has a lot of resources. A lot!. Please use it wisely.

You could also take online coaching from proper institutes. You know which one😜.

6) Allot specific time for preparation and detox from phones/distraction.

We were lucky that we were not as much exposed to distraction back in 2016 or was it me alone. Mobile can take away lot of your time and you can't even track it yourself. So be aware and use phone only for education. You don't need social media at this period of life. Duh!

Detox yourself from all distraction. Other than studying all you can do is eat, sleep ,personal care like cleanliness, exercise, meditation, talk with friends and family. That's it. No Masti, no time waste.

Finish of NCERT of +1 in 5-6 months and start of competitive exams preparation. Similarly when u come to +2 ,it becomes even more crucial. Finish off NCERT real quick, one round of its NEET/ JEE syllabus questions. And now according to each chapter weightage, give time accordingly for both years syllabus preparation.

Sleep less but sleep well . 5 hours would also be more but try this much. Prepare hard, prepare smart.

Remind yourself about your dream, why you started preparing, motivate yourself, stay committed.

Everything is possible ✨❤️🎯

All the best .
